What a Challenge

After receiving the email from Ryan about taking the Challenge to everyone, I thought about it for quite some time. I thought this might be a good time to start reminiscing.

I meet my husband in late 1993 after ending a 24 year marriage. He has always told me I could write a book just about my dreams, some are very weird at times. I am not good at putting my thoughts into words onto paper. So, usually when I write it is short reading. This will be as my thought process comes to mind. Forgive me if things get disjointed.

It took me a very long time to realize hubby was someone I could trust and talk to about almost anything. I am not a very trusting person when it comes to people (with good reason). For some reason I have had a sense about people. It throws hubby off balance sometimes.

I have always been too hard on myself. I am from a large family which seemed to be the thing in my day and before for generations. Always the responsible one, feeling the need to take care of everyone even as a child. I remember hardly anything of my life before the age of ten, more like nothing.

My dad died when I was about eight. Without his photo, I would have no clue what he looked like. He was very young when he died leaving my mother with nine children ranging in ages about three to about eighteen. It seems like the three oldest married quickly after my father died. We lived on a large farm. My mother was not able to handle it so we left for a small city when I was about ten.

My dreams started as a young child. I remember having migraine headaches all the time. Didn't know what they were until I became an adult. Just thought I had terrible headaches. If, I thought things were bad then, it got worse after leaving the farm.
